1. Information on how to enter and gift details form part of these conditions. Participation in this Offer is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions of participation.
  2. The Promoter is Telstra Corporation Limited ABN 33 051 775 556 of 151 Clarence Street, Sydney, NSW 2000.
  3. The Offer will be open from 9.00 am Australian Eastern Standard Time ("AEST") on 1 July 2008 and will continue until 11.00 pm AEST on 30 September 2008 ("Offer Period").
 4. Participation is open to:
  (a) all residents of New South Wales and Victoria who reside in postcodes in the Sydney or Melbourne metropolitan areas; and
  (b) who are aged 18 years and over,
but excluding management, employees or contractors of the Promoter and other agencies, firms or companies associated with the Offer (including suppliers of gifts), and their immediate families ("Eligible Participants").
 5. To participate in this Offer, Eligible Participants must, during the Offer Period, and in one transaction:
  (a) receive a telephone call regarding the Offer from representatives of the Promoter; and
  (b) perform Option 1, Option 2 or Option 3 as described below ("Eligible Participation").
 6. Option 1
 Eligible Participants who, during the telephone call referred to in clause 5(a):
  (a) sign-up to:
   (i) a new fixed home line service with Telstra (excluding HomeLine Part); or
   (ii) transfer their existing residential fixed line service from another telecommunications service provider to a new fixed home line service with Telstra (excluding HomeLine Part); and
  (b) sign-up to:
   (i) a new BigPond® broadband service for a minimum of 12 months; or
   (ii) transfer their existing internet service from another telecommunications service provider to a new BigPond broadband service for a minimum of 12 months, will have performed an Eligible Participation.
 7. Option 2
 Eligible Participants who have a fixed home line service with Telstra (excluding HomeLine Part) and who, during the telephone call referred to in clause 5(a):
  (a) sign-up to a new BigPond broadband service for a minimum of 12 months; or
  (b) transfer their existing internet service from another telecommunications service provider to a new BigPond broadband service for a minimum of 12 months,will have performed an Eligible Participation.
 8. Option 3
 Eligible Participants who have a BigPond broadband service on a minimum 12 month plan and who, during the telephone call referred to in clause 5(a):
  (a) sign-up to a new fixed home line service with Telstra (excluding HomeLine Part); or
  (b) transfer their existing residential fixed line service from another telecommunications service provider to a new fixed home line service with Telstra (excluding HomeLine Part), will have performed an Eligible Participation.
 Gifts
9. The first 720 Eligible Participants who perform an Eligible Participation will receive their choice of either a $50 Freedom gift voucher or a $50 JB Hi Fi voucher ("Gift").
10. Limit of one Gift per Eligible Participant during the Offer Period.
11. The Gift recipients will be notified at the time of performing an Eligible Participation that they will receive a Gift. Gifts will be posted to the Gift recipients within 14 days of the Gift recipient performing an Eligible Participation.
12. Any unclaimed Gifts will be distributed at the Promoter's absolute discretion.
 General
13. The total Gift pool value is up to $36,000.
14. The Gift is transferable but is not exchangeable and is not redeemable for cash. All other costs associated with the Gift are the responsibility of the Gift recipients . The Gift will be valid for 12 months after the date of issue of the Gift by the Promoter to the Gift recipient.
15. The Promoter shall not be liable for any Gift that may be lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way before it reaches the Gift recipient.
16. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the Gift and will not be held liable for any loss, damage or injury which results directly or indirectly from this Offer or the taking of Gifts.
 17. If the Promoter is unable to provide a Gift recipient with the nominated Gift, the Promoter reserves the right to supply an alternative gift of similar monetary value to the nominated Gift.
 18. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries not received for any reason during the Offer Period. Entries will be deemed to be accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter. No responsibility will be taken for lost, late or misdirected entries. The Promoter is not responsible for technical difficulties with the entry mechanism and does not warrant that the entry mechanism will be available at all times.
 19. If, for any reason, the Offer is not capable of running as planned, including due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failure or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter, which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness or integrity or proper conduct of this Offer, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to take any action that may be available, subject to State and Territory regulations.
 20. Any Eligible Participant who, in the opinion of the Promoter, tampers or interferes with the entry mechanism in any way, or who does not properly comply with the entry process, will be ineligible.
 21. Incomplete, illegible or incorrect entries or entries containing offensive or defamatory comments, or which breach any law or infringe any third party rights, including intellectual property rights, are not eligible.
 22. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries in the event of non-compliance with these terms and conditions of participation. In the event there is a dispute concerning the conduct of the Offer, the decision of the Promoter is final and binding on each participant and no correspondence will be entered into.
 23. By entering the Offer, the participant understands and agrees that the Promoter may use and disclose the information provided by the participant on the terms and for the purposes (including marketing) set out in the Promoter’s Privacy Statement available at www.telstra.com.au/privacy/privacy_statement.html or by calling 1800 039 059, as if they were a customer of the Promoter. The participant agrees that the Promoter can continue to contact them even after this Offer ends. If the participant would like to access or correct the personal information that the Promoter holds about the participant, or if the participant does not wish the information to be disclosed, the participant should advise the Promoter by phoning 1800 039 059.
 24. By accepting a Gift, the participant agrees to be contacted by Telstra about the Offer and to participate in Telstra’s publicity activities as reasonably requested, including being photographed by the Telstra for use by Telstra in future marketing and activities without requiring further payment by Telstra or further consent from the participant.
 25. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with this Offer.
 26. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax liabilities that may arise from winning a Gift.
